Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) Informed Approaches

CAT-informed approaches (Cognitive Analytic Therapy–informed) focus on noticing repeating patterns in how you think, feel and relate to others, especially those shaped by early experiences. Together we map these patterns out in a clear, shared way and work on gentle, practical steps to create healthier, more balanced ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based talking therapy that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact. It focuses on building practical skills and strategies to change unhelpful patterns, reduce distress and improve day-to-day functioning. It helps significantly with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem.

Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is a psychological therapy that helps people develop a kinder, more supportive way of relating to themselves, especially when they struggle with shame, self-criticism or feeling “not good enough.” It draws on neuroscience and evolutionary psychology to build inner compassion, so people can soothe their threat system, manage difficult emotions and live in a way that fits better with their values.

Trauma Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured trauma therapy that helps people process distressing memories, images and beliefs so they feel less overwhelming in the present. Using sets of eye movements or other forms of “bilateral stimulation,” EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing processes, reducing symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety and intense emotional distress.
